Randwick City's Eco Living Expo is a free community and sustainability-focused festival. Come and pick up some new innovative green living tips in a fun, family-friendly environment. This is an annual event held in September at the Randwick Community Centre.
There will talks on various topics from
Zero Emissions by 2030. Can we get there and how? with Dr Karl;
The Circular Fashion Trend with Camille Reed;
The Future of Electric Cars with Tim Washington; and more!
There'll also be workshops and demonstrations including an info session on Maximising Savings from your Rooftop Solar System and Togetherness Design: Decluttering and Home Reset with Cecilia Macauley.
Check out the Energy exhibition space, chat to the Sustainability experts and designers who will be on hand. Wander through the Market stalls promoting and showcasing environmentally friendly home-wares, clothing and products from across the Eastern suburbs and wider Sydney. Bring the kids, there'll be lots for them to do from nature play, arts and crafts with recyclables, live bird shows, and much more.

This event is proudly eco-friendly. It will be powered by renewable forms of energy including wind, solar and bio-diesel and waste and recycling will be managed by green team volunteers. To make sure any waste and left over food is properly collected and composted, green team volunteers will be on hand to help show attendees where and how to best dispose of their rubbish. As well, plastic bottles, plastic bags and plastic straws will banned so as to reduce the amount of single use plastics from the event.
